Plastic artist based in the Paris region, Mark Daovannary explores the origin, energy and consciousness of materials shaped by nature or by man. Between science and anthropology, he gives them body, life, movement, transforms them and personifies them, thus reviving the animism of childhood.

Trained at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the School of Visual Arts in New York and at Duperré, he enriched his training with the Japanese sculptor Tetsuo Harada.

His works have been presented at the 62nd Salon de Montrouge, at the Villa Noailles and at the Chapelle des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He has also been awarded the Talents Emergents prize by the Île-de-France region.
