Taken as a witness,
Mount Fuji greets the horizon,
The clouds rise.

For Mark Daovannary, climbing Mount Fuji is accompanied by a meditative dimension. During the walk, silent nature is all that surrounds him. In his photographic series, the artist captures this diffuse sensation, an uncontrolled introspection that makes him lose the notion of space and time. He then reverses the reference points: the earth becomes the horizon, emphasizing the slope of the clouds.
